Why is the Sample Price Higher?

Sample costs are typically higher because they are made as one-off or low-quantity productions, without the cost advantages of bulk manufacturing.

For jewelry packaging, sample pricing includes:

Material sourcing in small quantities (no bulk discount)
Manual setup and craftsmanship for structure, logo, and finishing
Machine setup costs (molds, printing plates, hot stamping setup, etc.)
Development and adjustment time, especially for custom designs

In addition, when 3D rendering is involved, we help you finalize the design before sampling — which reduces trial-and-error and avoids multiple sample revisions.

In bulk production, these costs are distributed across larger quantities, which significantly lowers the unit price.

Is the Sample Cost Refundable?

Yes, the sample cost can be refunded or credited under certain conditions.

For most custom projects, the sample fee will be fully or partially deducted from the bulk order, once the order reaches an agreed quantity.

This approach ensures:

You receive a fully confirmed sample before production
The sample development cost is not wasted
Both sides are aligned before moving into mass production

Can You Provide Free Samples?

For standard items, we may provide free samples or existing stock samples for reference.

For customized designs, samples are usually charged due to:

Material sourcing and setup costs

Manual craftsmanship and development time

However, the sample cost can be refunded or credited once a bulk order reaches the agreed quantity.

With our 3D rendering-first approach, you can confirm the design before sampling — helping reduce unnecessary sample costs and revisions.

As a general guideline:

Sample production: 5–10 working days
Bulk production: 20–35 working days after sample approval

For more complex designs or during peak seasons, the lead time may be slightly extended. We will always confirm a clear production schedule before order confirmation.
